InvestorLists.vc was born out of Meet.Capital, which provides investor outreach services for early-stage startups.

A couple of years ago, we started gathering lists of investors to help our subscribers, followers, and clients.

The first thing we did was to go through investor lists that were being shared around the web and on social media.

What I discovered was very disturbing. Most of the lists circulating on the web have been around for years, and are full of outdated information and broken links. Those overused and outdated lists included many listings that pointed to websites of venture capital funds that are no longer operating, and websites that have been taken down.

So I asked my team to start reviewing the lists we gathered and make sure that the information in them is updated. We deleted the outdated data and created a trimmed-down, useful version of the lists. We also took the time to collect the necessary information from the websites of the VCs included in the lists, and to check for their preferred investment domains and stages.

By simply putting in this manual effort, we were able to create investor lists that actually save your time, and are probably better than any other.

Our lists include the name, website, location, description/thesis, domains, stages, LinkedIn company page, and contact email of institutional investors, including VCs, family offices, angel groups, accelerators, and more.

We also have lists of individual angel investors based on our research on the web and on LinkedIn. We provide their name, country, LinkedIn profile URL, and domains of interest (based on keyword searches through their LinkedIn profiles. The angels in our lists are all active LinkedIn users (which means they are more likely to respond if you reach out to them on LinkedIn). They also all have an open or premium profile (or at least they did when we looked at their LinkedIn profile). That means that you can send them an inmail or DM on LinkedIn, for free, even if you are not connected to them.
